Freezing refried beans??
So I made a big batch of refried beans this evening. I'm not sure exactly what I was thinking when I made this big of a batch...so I was wondering if anyone has any advice on whether they freeze well and if they do then what is the best method for packaging and/or reheating. Thanks for any help.... or we may be eating a lot of refried beans in the next few days.

Me too! Something gross happened in my pantry and I felt obliged to use up the rest of a huge bag of pintos- so I've got close to 3 quarts of refries on my hands! They freeze very well. Last time I just filled a ziploc freezer bag with them. Just be careful what shape the bag is in when it freezes! :)
ps- if anyone wants some, just let me know! I have enough to share!
